At Champion Tree & Plant Health Care, our mission is to provide comprehensive and research-driven plant health care services. We are dedicated to nurturing the enduring well-being and vitality of your yard and trees.
Through our commitment to evolving Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategies and utilizing effective, environmentally friendly products, we strive to deliver healthy landscapes to our valued customers on Philadelphia's Main Line.
Marielle is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist and a Certified Pesticide Applicator by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
The heart behind Champion Tree
Inspired by the large, old growth William Penn trees around the Main Line and greater Philadelphia area, Marielle founded Champion Tree with the mission to preserve the health and longevity of our area's trees and shrubs.
A gradually warming climate, with intense, sporadic weather patterns, combined with the threat of invasive insects introduced from overseas, have made a challenging environment for our plants to grow and thrive.
Marielle founded Champion Tree for the love of our big trees and with the hope that routine, expert care will extend the lifespans of many in our area.
A holistic approach to tree and plant health care
Champion Tree seeks a holistic approach to your landscape needs. If tree pruning or removal is recommended, we refer our customers to Practiced Hands Tree Care. With over a decade of experience, Marielle's husband, Alex, owner of Practiced Hands, has the equipment, expertise and talented crew to care for the trees in your landscape.
With a joint commitment to the long term health of your trees and shrubs, Marielle and Alex conduct joint estimates and site visits, ensuring you receive a comprehensive evaluation for a thriving landscape.

Marielle, an ISA Certified Arborist and a Certified Pesticide Applicator by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, leads our team. Beyond her expertise in tree care, Marielle is a passionate rose gardener with a collection of over 60 rose plants. As an active member of the American Rose Society and ISA, she's eager to share her knowledge and consult with you on rose selection and care.
